Complaints Form – How to Submit a Claim
If you wish to make a claim regarding one or more roller blinds, please complete the form below.
In order for us to process your complaint, the following conditions must be met:
- The blind must be within the warranty period (2 years).
- The blind must have been purchased directly from Color & Co, not through a retailer.
- The form must be completed with a detailed description, order number, as well as photos and/or video of the issue.
Please note: If you purchased your blind through a retailer, you must contact that retailer directly.
Once we have received your complaint, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Complaint
What can you make a claim about?
You may, among other things, make a claim regarding the following defects or deficiencies:
- Roller blinds with twisted fabric or significant unevenness.
- Broken or damaged bamboo slats.
- Defective cords, chain mechanisms, locking mechanisms, or other operating components.
- Glue or lacquer stains on the roller blind.
- Roller blinds that bow in the middle.
- Significant discoloration or unusual variations in the material’s texture (please see below first).
As our roller blinds are made from natural materials, minor cosmetic imperfections may occur. These are a natural and unavoidable part of a unique natural product and are therefore not considered defects covered by the right to make a claim.
All claims are assessed individually based on the defect described and the documentation provided.
What can you not make a claim about?
As a general rule, the following are not considered defects covered by the right to make a claim:
- Natural variations in the material: Variations in the color of the bamboo (including the slats), texture, and appearance that are not considered a product defect. Each roller blind is unique and handmade. We make every effort to match the colors of all roller blinds within the same order as closely as possible.
- Incorrect measurements: Roller blinds with incorrect dimensions resulting from errors in your own measurements.
- Roller blinds ordered at different times: Differences in color, shade, appearance, or components between roller blinds purchased in separate orders. We cannot guarantee an exact color or shade match across separate orders, and individual components may also have been replaced or changed in the meantime.
- Fading: Over time, all materials exposed to sunlight will fade. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided.
Please note:
Bamboo and our plant-based textiles are natural materials, and variations in color, texture, and appearance may therefore occur. These variations are a natural characteristic of the materials and help make each individual roller blind unique.
